The Indian Diamond Institute is a Government of India sponsored autonomous higher school of learning in the fields of diamonds, gems and jewellery in India. The Institute is located in Surat, Gujarat, India and is 263 km away from Mumbai. Hostel service available for students who are belonging from another state and city.

One of the best decision in my life is joining IDI and after completion myself work with Tanisq,Sangvi Star,Senco Gold. Most of us are thinking about GIA or IGI to learn about Gem and Jewelry but in India it's the best institution for studying in this field. Because in India GIA or IGI not having vast numbers of Diamond or Gemstones or other instruments as IDI has. They have certificate value but in practical companies preferred knowledge which IDI has.
